Romanyk Consulting Corp. (RCC) created a 60,000-sq.-ft. schematic master plan for a new behavioral health clinic located at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia, MO. One crucial aspect of the master plan is it enables the VA to build the clinic in separate phases.

Based upon the schematic master plan, RCC then began design and construction documents for the first phase. Phase one is a 12,000-sq.-ft. outpatient behavioral health clinic. The clinic includes (but is not limited to) group rooms; clinical offices which double as counseling rooms, public restrooms, a central check-in/waiting room and TMS treatment rooms as part of the first phase.

Mental Health Clinics provide general and specialty mental health services for Veterans being evaluated diagnosed, and treated on an outpatient basis. Services include: diagnostic and treatment planning evaluations for the full range of mental health problems. Treatment services include individual, group and family psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy and sometimes other somatic treatments, cognitive and psychological assessment services, patient education and consultation.
