Nick Romanyk is an innovative and results-driven leader of Romanyk Consulting Corp. (RCC). RCC provides a wide range of services from traditional management consulting to Information technology, Facility Services and Architectural & Engineering Services. He has extensive recent experience leading a team to perform a “fresh look” analysis of the health care for Veterans in the entire Pacific region for the VA Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21) and VAPIHCS. He developed a patent-pending Workload Allocation Model (WAM) process used in allocating and reallocating the workload across multiple facilities in order to improve the access for our veterans. Nick holds a Master of Science – Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso and a Bachelor of Science – Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
Jeff has over 34 years of experience in the construction, planning and operations of Healthcare Facilities, primarily in the federal sector. As Senior Practice Leader for Facilities and Planning, he leads Romanyk Consulting Corporation in a wide range of healthcare related planning, design, and facilities related services and has extensive government related experience. Jeff is recognized under ASHE as a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager and achieved government recognized project management certification at the senior FAC-PPM level.
Dan Akol is an architect with over 30 years of experience, providing design leadership in medical planning, master planning, strategic systems and facility planning; he has helped over 2,000 healthcare facilities to meet their strategic and business plan goals. Dan’s design philosophy is to provide sensitive, healing environments that seamlessly integrate and support today’s medical technologies and treatment methodologies. As the Director of Design Services, Dan leads innovative design solutions while delivering superior client service and streamlining processes to meet schedule and budget goals. Dan is a member of AIA, LEAN Construction Institute, PMI and the American Society of Healthcare Engineers.
Gary Clough, AIA, draws from his more than 20 years’ experience in Healthcare, Medical Planning and Project Delivery for both civilian and VA clients to lead RCC’s Architectural Design Practice. He is skilled at working on several different projects at once in different States or Jurisdictions. He has held a leadership position in an Architectural Firm for the last 20 years where he was in charge of a national contract for a large healthcare corporation, producing new and renovated facilities across the country. Gary has demonstrated hands-on experience, as well as leadership skills, in every phase of medical facility projects from Schematic Design and Planning, through Construction Administration and Project Delivery to the Owner. Gary’s skill set includes Client Relations, Medical Facility Planning, Project Management, Lighting Design, Specifications, and Construction Management. Gary is a registered architect in Arkansas, he is also licensed several other States, and is NCARB certified.
Chris Mavros brings more than 15 years of experience in the A/E/C industry. In his role as a Business Development Manager, Chris is responsible for creating and maintaining successful client relationships, engaging all firm personnel in business development, as well as developing and sustaining a consistent brand identity that is evident throughout every facet of the firm. His background in architecture, marketing, graphic design, and branding has given him a strong eye for detail informing every decision he makes regarding the firm’s identity. Chris holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Strategy from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Architecture. Chris is also on the Board of Directors for the SMPS Dallas Chapter and is the Director of Sponsorships.
As a consultant and Delivery Network Planning Practice Manager for RCC, Lucas Miller has a diverse skill set and array of work experience working with healthcare and non-healthcare clientele. He has provided consulting services that have supported success in both the private and public sector. Prior engagements he has been involved with have focused efforts on healthcare demographic and demand analysis, project management, strategic planning and implementation, capital and facility master planning, operational assessments, as well as process re-engineering and improvement.
Will Hayes brings 30+ years of law enforcement and security investigations to his role as Security Practice Leader, managing Romanyk’s Physical Security program. Will oversees all day-to-day operations of this program including planning, management, and oversight of physical security assessments. After almost 30 years as the Deputy Special Agent in Charge for Homeland Security Investigations, Will is comfortably and effectively able to manage any security emergency including, prevention, preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation. Will’s notable certifications include Professional Emergency Manager (PEM) status, Certified Sport Security Professional (CSSP) and Professional Continuity Practitioner (PCP).
With 25 years of software engineering experience, Scott Metzger serves as Romanyk Consulting’s Solutions Architect. He is the Project Manager for the firm’s USAMRIID contract, which includes support for the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Scott has designed, developed, deployed and maintained three critical Web based ASP.net systems for USAMRIID including the Budget Tool, PCR Ordering, and Animal Husbandry systems. He specializes in actively communicating with customers, working with them to figure out what they need and delivering a solution to save time, money and make the job easier and more accurate. Scott has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and a CompTIA Security+ Certification.
Gerri Riley is a management and financial professional with over 30 years of experience, and has recently been promoted to Romanyk Consulting’s Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to our President/CEO, Gerri’s daily tasks include strategic and business planning, government contract administration, human resources, and financial management. Gerri’s experiences in both the finance and healthcare arenas have made her into the dedicated, efficient, effective professional she is today. Gerri has always been an active volunteer, offering up her management and financial services to many great organizations.
